Sista Time - Day 1, arrival. June 2014

It was with great excitement that I awaited the arrival of my sister Diane and her husband.  Having recently had her daughter and fiance to stay had given me that taste of home and I was keen to see more family.

Weary travellers arriving after a long journey from New Zealand.

Just a few goodies from home.  Thanks Di and Mum & Dad!
Now let me see - books for reading.
Kiwiana place mats.
Buzzy bee figurines.
Pohutakawa apron.
Nutri grain cereal for the teenager along with a stock of raro.
Marmite and vegemite.
Manuka honey from my daughter.
Licquorie allsorts, raspberry licquorice, pineapple lumps, Whittakers chocolate, peanut slabs, coconut rough!

One of my new kiwi tops.

No time to waste.  The visitors may have only arrived but it's out to an Indian evening where one of my kiwi roast guests is returning the favour and showing us how to make Indian food.  Several wines and cheeses and I'm not sure how much we learnt but the food was delicious.

Visitors enjoying the spread.

Diane and I deep in thought.

Sister love!
Now it's home for a good nights sleep for them before we head off on our next adventure.
